In 2012, Washington Lawyers for Sustainability and the Seattle University School of Law hosted a full day symposium entitled “Sustainability and the Law: Making Sustainability Legal, Economically Viable, and Socially Just.” The symposium focused on finding pragmatic solutions to complex problems with local impacts and global ramifications, and spoke to a wide audience of lawyers, and other professionals, business people, and employees of nonprofits and government agencies concerned with these issues.
